Born 1896, William Fisher was a farmer who claimed 3 quarters between 1927 and 1928 – SE 20 – 11-74-6, SW 17-12-74-6, and SE 18-12-74-6. At this time he was not married, and it is not known if he was married later. He was in his 40’s when he served in WW II in the Army Medical Corps. William died on September 8, 1957 at age 61, and was buried at the Hythe Cemetery.
