Beaverlodge Mutual Telephone Company fonds. — 1935-1947. — 2 cm of textual records.
The earliest records of the Beaverlodge Mutual Telephone Co. records a list of 18 member stock holders with their monthly payments on account in 1935. Members were responsible for maintenance of their own lines and much of the business of the company had to do with the acquiring and replacing tamarac poles for the main line. Each shareholder paid a levy determined by the company, a rental fee and any toll fees for calls beyond their line.
These records were originally donated to the South Peace Centennial Museum in Beaverlodge and were transferred to the South Peace Regional Archives by Lori Dalgleish in November, 2008.
