This Week in History has us looking at court cases in 1915 the Supreme Court had it’s first sitting in Grande Prairie.
The cases on the docket were a shooting, defamation libel and suing for damages.
I think the most surprising case is the shooting case. After confessing to having shot his neighbor the defendant got off with time served and a warning!
The two papers Grande Prairie Herald and the Frontier Signal both reported the event and can be found on this site.
