We are accustomed to the gimmicks used to sell “pre-owned” cars, but in 1933, Don Innes of Sexsmith thought up a doozy! He was going to sell used cars by the pound like beef steak. It’s such a novel idea that it wouldn’t surprise me to see it being tried locally. I am learning from the old newspaper ads that all the hype and hoopla of today isn’t all that new.
