I’m pleased to introduce a new feature on our blog – Kathryn’s Thursday File! Each week volunteer Kathryn Auger researches and writes a blog post for our “This Week in History” series, featuring news articles from past issues of local newspapers. In her research, she often stumbles upon clippings of a more lighthearted nature and we want to begin sharing them with you.
The first selection was taken from a 1915 issue of the Frontier Signal, and its description of the harbingers of spring is a cheery read on this cool, gray day.
