Administrative history / Biographical sketch
Victor Nasedkin worked for Northern Alberta Railway in 1947 as well as operating a farm with his wife Jennie. By 1950 he was both a farmer and a school bus driver. In 1957, the family moved to Fairview and Victor began work with Imperial Oil Co. as an oil agent as well as farming. From 1966-1980, he added rental properties to his business, including building the Midtowner Motel in 1979 which replaced his Fifth Ave. Apartments. Victor and Jennie had five children and eventually moved to Grande Prairie for their retirement.
Custodial history
These records were donated to the South Peace Regional Archives by Victor Nasedkin in 2007.
Scope and content
The fonds consists of income tax records for Victor from 1947-1980 and for his son, Ken Nasedkin in 1970, 1972, and a Historical Population Chart, 1921-1980.
