Lester Reber was born in Rosalind Alberta on April 25, 1923. In the spring of 1938 Lester, along with his father and brother Hugh moved to Eaglesham.
Lester joined the army in January of 1943 and served in the Army during World II in Canada, England, and Northwest Europe. Lester was a member of Eaglesham Legion Branch 235. After leaving the army he took up land west of Eaglesham.
Lester married Dorothy Campbell in May 1948. After Lester and Dorothy retired in 1977 they moved to Grande Prairie. Lester died On May 23, 2016 at the age of 93.
