Reginald was born in Northwich, England on August 5, 1883. He enlisted at Shorncliffe in February of 1916. Reginald received shrapnel wounds to his left hip in July of 1916. Around 1919, he married Marie in England. Reginald and Marie came to the Chinook Valley area with their four daughters in 1929 and filed on a homestead at 28-76-6-W6. In 1931, Reginald lost an eye while working on the bridge across the Burnt River. Reginald and Marie moved into Grande Prairie around 1954 or 1955. He died on September 2, 1965 and was buried in the Grande Prairie cemetery.
